Ingredients
  

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cooked chicken breast sliced or shredded
  • 1 ripe avocado sliced or mashed
  • 1/2 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 2 tablespoons red onion thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons shredded cheese cheddar or Monterey Jack
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: hot sauce or sriracha for extra flavor

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the avocado spread: In a small bowl, mash the avocado with lime juice, salt, and pepper. If you prefer a creamier texture, mix in a tablespoon of mayonnaise or Greek yogurt. This will add richness and help the wrap hold together.
  • Warm the tortillas: Heat the tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for 20–30 seconds on each side or wrap them in a damp paper towel and microwave for 15–20 seconds. Warming makes them more pliable and easier to roll without tearing.
  • Assemble the wrap: Lay the tortilla flat and spread a layer of avocado mixture evenly over the center. Add shredded lettuce, cherry tomatoes, sliced chicken, red onion, and shredded cheese. Layer evenly so each bite gets a mix of flavors.
  • Season and add flavor: Drizzle a small amount of mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, or hot sauce on top of the filling. Taste and adjust with extra salt, pepper, or lime juice if desired.
  • Roll the wrap: Fold the sides of the tortilla inwards, then tightly roll it from the bottom up. Press gently to keep everything together. Slice the wrap in half diagonally for a neat presentation.
  • Serve: Arrange on a plate and serve immediately. This wrap pairs beautifully with a side of fresh fruit, a small salad, or baked sweet potato fries for a complete, satisfying meal.
